Life Stationery is another brand that we’ve carried since we opened our doors, and to this day, shipments from Japan are as exciting as ever. Their Noble Note line is iconic among true stationery nerds, and their paper is fantastic for fountain pens. Motoshige Saitoh-san, the president of Life Stationery (!), was kind enough to … [Read more…]

An Organizing System of Index Cards

Life Stationery Index Card

I’ve recently begun using index cards to organize my life. I’ve heard about people using index cards to help keep them organized, with great success, and I’m a bit of a pen and paper person myself, so I thought I would give it a try – at least to start with organizing a few different … [Read more…]

My 2017 Analogue System

Midori Traveler's Notebook Pan Am Blue Camel 10th Anniversary

I’ve been thinking quite a bit about my analogue system for next year – it’s always nice to be able to start a year fresh with clean white pages and, in my case, hope for the best. It’s very similar to my system from this past year (here’s my blog post at the end of … [Read more…]

New Life Japanese Stationery Products

I think Life must be one of my favourite stationery brands of all time. I’m serious. I use Rhodia everyday for taking notes, and often for my ink reviews because it’s a really standard white paper most people have experienced, I love the Seyes Ruled paper on Clairefontaine, you know that I love G. Lalo … [Read more…]

Life Kappan Writing Stationery

January 15, 2015 by wonderpens 2 Comments

Jon has gone off and left me with these two non-contributing members of the family, and so I thought it would be a good time to get some writing done. I’ve been catching up on thank you notes from the holidays, which is always an excellent reason to use some of the fancier paper in … [Read more…]

A surprise appearance by a few of these beauties: the Lamy 2000 Bauhaus in a dark, elegant blue makrolon. This is a numbered limited edition, and comes in a gift box with a thick, hard bound notebook. Our first batch went so fast we didn’t have time to post it, and so we’re glad to receive just a few more.

My analogue system for 2020:
1) Hobonichi Techo Avec (daily pocket notebook)
2) Traveler’s Notebook for work/organizing
3) Traveler’s Notebook for journaling/personal
4) Midori 3-year Diary for a few lines a day
5) Superior Labor Pen and Wallet Case

More details on the blog (link in profile), but this has been a tweak of previous years, which it seems I’m always doing. I’m most looking forward to seeing how the Techo will fit into daily life, to jot down lists, ideas, things to remember, in a looser, more disposable way, in the structure of a page-a-day, which may/will also help me look back when needed.
Anyone else have their 2020 system organized?
