Scriptus is well and done for the year, but bear with me as I just share this last post on the Scriptus show ink, Diamine Rushbrooke Blue. The ink got its name from Philip, the show organizer’s, street in Toronto. Who am I to play favourites among show inks, but this is a gorgeous, medium … [Read more…]

October 31, 2019 by wonderpens 2 Comments

It’s fall again! About time. It’s glorious. Just the whisperings of the winter ahead. Before you know it I’ll be complaining about how cold it is. Perhaps we’ll be there by the time you finish reading this blog post. It’s the first time in a long while that I’ve inked up a whole bunch of … [Read more…]

The long awaited Caroube de Chypre, the brown 1670 ink from J. Herbin, has arrived! A surprise appearance by a few of these beauties: the Lamy 2000 Bauhaus in a dark, elegant blue makrolon. This is a numbered limited edition, and comes in a gift box with a thick, hard bound notebook. Our first batch went so fast we didn’t have time to post it, and so we’re glad to receive just a few more.

My analogue system for 2020:
1) Hobonichi Techo Avec (daily pocket notebook)
2) Traveler’s Notebook for work/organizing
3) Traveler’s Notebook for journaling/personal
4) Midori 3-year Diary for a few lines a day
5) Superior Labor Pen and Wallet Case

More details on the blog (link in profile), but this has been a tweak of previous years, which it seems I’m always doing. I’m most looking forward to seeing how the Techo will fit into daily life, to jot down lists, ideas, things to remember, in a looser, more disposable way, in the structure of a page-a-day, which may/will also help me look back when needed.
Anyone else have their 2020 system organized?
