  1. No guyyss…Why are you doing this to us? 😛 We won’t be able to join you once we’ll be in a state of panic, decorating the space for the opening day. :/ We hope you’ll do it again, right? Good luck & please post some photos!

    • We sure hope to post some photos! The Letter Writing Club will be monthly, so maybe you two will have time to join us in the future? Best of luck for the grand opening – we know all the work and stress of putting together a new shop! 🙂

I haven’t read “To the Letter”, but I did like Garfield’s book on fonts, “Just My Type”. I would recommend Thomas Mallon’s book on letter writing, “Yours Ever”.

  3. You’re lucky your library had it, I had to order it in on inter-library loan.

Just finished it–wonderful book. He has two other books I am interested in, one of the history of fonts and typography and one on the history of map making that look equally interesting. I’m putting through inter-library loans for both of them.

    • I was lucky! I wasn’t even looking for it, but stumbled upon it just browsing the shelves. I’ve heard the history of typography one is very good, although the map making one must also have some pretty fascinating stories – let me know how you like them! 🙂

Just stumbled across your blog today by accident. Love the post and the other info here. Wish I could join you for letter writing but I’m out of the city this weekend. Hopefully next time! Thank you!

    • Thanks for reading, and I’m glad you found our blog! I’m very excited for our first meet this weekend, but I hope you’ll be able to join us for the next Letter Writing Club 🙂
